The Friends of the LSA Art Collection was formed in 2008 by Chair, Margaret Race to raise awareness and to create opportunities to display the Collection.

Another important aim is to raise funds for conservation.

In 2016, the Friends registered with the Charity Commission (Regd. Charity. No.1167075) as Lytham St Annes Art Collection Trust.
