The Fylde Gallery, Booths, Haven Road, Lytham

The Fylde Gallery Is Closed

A highly significant milestone in the life of the Collection was the building of the beautiful Fylde Gallery by the Booth family within their new store in Lytham in 2007.

It was built specifically to display artworks from the Lytham St Annes Art Collection and every year there are either one or two themed exhibitions when some of the items from the Collection are on display.

Please note that Fylde Gallery is closed until further notice.

The First Exhibition

Herd Lassie, the first picture to be donated to the Collection by John Booth in 1925, hangs there proudly on long term loan.

The very first exhibition in the Gallery was of paintings by Richard Ansdell RA.

See list below of all the Exhibitions which have been staged in the Gallery containing items from the Collection.

Serving The Community

Booths, Fylde Borough Council and the Friends of Lytham St Annes Art Collection were anxious that this Gallery should be non-profit making and should serve the community.

This has meant that as well as displays of the Collection, local art societies and community groups have continued to display their work on a regular basis.
