We are celebrating one hundred years of donations to the Lytham St Annes Art Collection.
One of our later acquisitions is Wyre Dock by Kathleen White (1922-1987).
A Preston born artist, she studied at Lancaster School of Art and was a frequent exhibitor.
For a time she lived in St Annes and served as Secretary to the Lytham St Annes Art Society which donated this painting in 2017. It is typical of the artist’s work in which she accentuated her landscapes and portraits with bold lines.
