We begin our activities this year with a fund raising event at 2.00pm on Wednesday 20 February at St Annes United Reformed Church, when we hope to raise money towards the recent conservation of our two lovely statues, Hebe and Amphritite.

Heather Davis, (Museums & Collections Manager, Lancashire Conservation Studios), has kindly agreed to give a talk entitled ‘Print works, doesn’t it?’, when she will provide a short history of prints, including some unexpected uses of early prints and an insight into the art of the engraver as used in propaganda.

There will be a Raffle and we hope you will take advantage of our stalls, selling second-hand art books, pictures and prints (some new) and Friends cards.  Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
